Purpose : To prepare structure designs and stability calculations that conform to project specification and class requirements.
Major duties :
- Complete design tasks as allocated by superintendent.
- Use correct supplier information is used in all structure design.
- Produce production details in conjunction with relevant line manager.
- Write procument specifications for major pieces of equipment.
- Ensure designs comply with technical specification.
- Ensure design comply with Class and Flag requirement.
Other duties :

- Prepare design information for submission to Class and flag authorities.
- Assist with developing shipyard standards for Structure and connection details.
- Prepare stability analysis for submission to Class.
- Assist with conducting inclining experiment, prepare inclining report and stability books.

Đại học

Knowledge :
- Knowledge of the marine and shipbuilding industry
- Understanding ship structure design and operation
- Understanding of Finite Element Analysis techniques and software
- Knowledge and understanding of current IMO regulations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor of Engineering ( Naval Architect ) or equivalent.
Skill :
- Good English
- Excellent Auto CAD skill
- 05+ years of experience in the marine industry.
